I believe that we are sitting in the land of opportunity. Today I had a customer that I know has been considering buying in Puerto Rico. This man has been with a major corporation in Puerto Rico for all that time. After spending the day with he ,his wife and his little agenda I believe he is one of the most savy business man I have ever met. He told me he plans to buy this week.
He understands that when he was first looking the buzz was just beginng to hum. Every couple of years as they were able to build their nest egg they would start their search again. Unfortunately as he was working hard ,the prices kept going up so he felt that he could never reach the home he wanted.
Now his nest egg is built and home prices have fallen so he said, "Now is the time.". I know as a realtor there aren't many people who would have a customer for 15 years. The next time I write you will see he is serious. So if Barry is buying , maybe it is time you consider it also.
We looked primarily at homes in Dorado, I was stunned. I think some prices have dropped more than 25%. I saw luxury golf villas right on the golf course, I mean watch out for golf balls! I saw lavish homes in wonderful upperclass neighborhoods for just $375000.
Puerto Rico's real estate market will be showcased on National TV in just a couple of months! I truly believe that now is the best time to buy and that Puerto Rico is the best kept secret in real estate.
